Prevalence of Distomolar Teeth and Associated Pathoses in a Group of Patients

Distomolar teeth may cause malposition, caries and root resorption of adjacent teeth, pericoronitis and dentigerous cysts. In this study, 8400 panoramic radiographs were examined in 4000 female and 4400 male patients who were admitted to an oral and dental health center between 2012 and 2013. The patients were between the ages of 20-60.
