METHODS 211 participants (138 CU, 45 with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and 28 with dementia) from the TRIAD cohort underwent 18F‐MK‐6240 tau‐PET and 18F‐AZD‐4694 amyloid‐PET.

Music signal processing for the reduction of auditory distortions in hearing-impaired listeners

Cochlear hearing loss leads to a reduction of frequency selectivity, which causes distortions of timbre and pitch. In addition, technical limitations of currently available hearing instruments cause further perceptual distortions. Therefore, especially cochlear implant (CI) listeners express their dissatisfaction with the quality of music reproduction.
