Investigation on tunnel stability considering pipe‐roof support with transparent soil technology
This study integrates transparent soil technology, 3D reconstruction and numerical simulation to captures the full‐field deformation of shield tunnel instability. Results demonstrate that pipe‐roof support enhances stability via the “soil‐arching barrier effect,” effectively restraining failure wedge development by extending stress transfer paths ...

Some Properties of a Subclass Involving Close - to - Convex of Univalent and Multivalent Functions
Our work included studying some subclasses of functions (univalent - multivalent) that are close to convex. which is divide into two parts. First part, we discussed the properties of parameter estimates, the implication relation, distortion theorem, and

A Unifying Impossibility Theorem [PDF]
This paper considers social choice correspondences assigning a choice set to each non-empty subset of social alternatives. We impose three requirements on these correspondences: unanimity, independence of preferences over infeasible alternatives and ...

The graphical abstract illustrates a reconstructed in situ thermo‐hydro‐mechanical (THM) framework in which porosity serves as the central variable linking stress, pore pressure, and temperature to evolving mechanical properties of rocks. Under burial conditions, in situ stress, pore pressure, and temperature jointly govern volumetric strain and ...

Modeling proppant transport and settling in a 3D propagating fracture
A versatile multiphysics tool is presented for simulating the complex processes involved in hydraulic fracturing treatments. The model couples fracture opening and propagation, variable‐density slurry flow, and proppant particle transport within the multiphysics object‐oriented simulation environment framework, based on two‐phase mixture equations and ...

Dilworth's Theorem Revisited, an Algorithmic Proof [PDF]
Dilworth's theorem establishes a link between a minimal path cover and a maximal antichain in a digraph.A new proof for Dilworth's theorem is given. Moreover an algorithm to find both the path cover and the antichain, as considered in the theorem, is ...
