Random-time processes governed by differential equations of fractional distributed order

open access: yes, 2011
We analyze here different types of fractional differential equations, under the assumption that their fractional order $\nu \in (0,1] $ is random\ with probability density $n(\nu).$ We start by considering the fractional extension of the recursive ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

A Physics-Informed Neural Network Based on the Separation of Variables for Solving the Distributed-Order Time-Fractional Advection–Diffusion Equation

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In this work, we propose a new physics-informed neural network framework based on the method of separation of variables (SVPINN) to solve the distributed-order time-fractional advection–diffusion equation.

Statistics of non-linear stochastic dynamical systems under L\'evy noises by a convolution quadrature approach

open access: yes, 2011
This paper describes a novel numerical approach to find the statistics of the non-stationary response of scalar non-linear systems excited by L\'evy white noises.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Analytic solutions of fractional differential equations by operational methods

open access: yes, 2012
We describe a general operational method that can be used in the analysis of fractional initial and boundary value problems with additional analytic conditions. As an example, we derive analytic solutions of some fractional generalisation of differential

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Adaptation of kernel functions-based approach with ABC distributed order derivative for solutions of fuzzy fractional Volterra and Fredholm integrodifferential equations

open access: yes, 2020
Mathematical modeling of uncertain FIDEs is an extremely significant topic in electric circuits, signal processing, electromagnetics, and anomalous diffusion systems. Based on the RKA, a touching numerical approach is considering in this study to solve groups of FFIDEs with ABC fractional distributed order derivatives. The solution-based approach ‎lies

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Design of a Fractional Order Frequency PID Controller for an Islanded Microgrid: A Multi-Objective Extremal Optimization Method

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Fractional order proportional-integral-derivative(FOPID) controllers have attracted increasing attentions recently due to their better control performance than the traditional integer-order proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers.
