Nanohybrid Hydrogel with Dual Functions: Controlled Low‐Temperature Photothermal Antibacterial Activity and Promoted Regeneration for Treating MRSA‐Infected Bone Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An injectable polydopamine‐based nanohybrid hydrogel integrates controlled low‐temperature photothermal therapy with potent antibacterial efficacy against MRSA while promoting robust bone regeneration. The hydrogel's composite design triggers HSP70 expression, facilitating osteogenesis and efficient bone formation.

Dendrimer Conjugates with PD‐L1‐Binding Peptides Enhance In Vivo Antitumor Immune Response

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
In this paper, a novel nanoparticle scaffold composed of dendrimers conjugated with peptide‐based immune checkpoint inhibitors, enhancing drug delivery efficacy is introduced. By conjugating PD‐L1‐binding peptides to dendrimers, multivalent binding effects are harnessed, resulting in enhanced binding affinity, prolonged half‐life, and improved ...

Light‐Activatable Hyaluronic Acid‐Derivatives Releasing Nitric Oxide and Their Delivery in the Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores the development of photoactivatable hyaluronic acid (HA) derivatives functionalized with nitric oxide (NO) photodonors for light‐controlled therapeutic applications. The HA derivatives demonstrate enhanced keratinocyte proliferation and migration, effective NO release, and skin penetration when formulated as microemulsions.

Self‐Healing Hydrogel Dressing with Solubilized Flavonoids for Whole Layer Regeneration of Diabetic Wound

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
High glucose‐ and acid‐responsive hydrogel with dynamic covalent bond solubilized with flavonoids (Gel‐Flavonoids) is designed for diabetic wound healing. The Gel‐Flavonoids adapt to irregular wound shapes and release antioxidants in high‐glucose environments, effectively reducing reactive oxygen species.
