GIDS: Global Interlinked Data Store

open access: yes, 2009
This paper introduces the Global Interlinked Data Store1 (GIDS), a technique to support the easy creation and retrieval of interlinked semantic data within a web-scale distributed network environment such as the World Wide Web (WWW). The GIDS enables the

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Robust fully distributed file caching for delay-tolerant networks: A reward-based incentive mechanism

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2017
This article exhibits a reward-based incentive mechanism for file caching in delay-tolerant networks. In delay-tolerant networks, nodes use relay’s store-carry-forward paradigm to reach the final destination.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Collaborative Mappers based on Co-evolutionary Optimization Technique in MapReduce

open access: yesInternational Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research, 2022
MapReduce algorithm inspired by the map and reduces functions commonly used in functional programming. The use of this model is more beneficial when optimization of the distributed mappers in the MapReduce framework comes into the account.

Genium Data Store : Distributed Data store

open access: yes, 2013
In recent years the need for distributed data storage has led the way to design new systems in a large-scale environment. The growth of unbounded stream of data, the necessity to store and analyze it in real time, reliably, scalable and fast are the reasons for appearance of such systems in financial sector, stock exchange Nasdaq OMX especially ...
