The increase in Malaysia’s energy demand has resulted in the rise of electricity generation. Specific policies and measures are therefore put in place to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels. The reduction is possible with the widespread adoption of distributed energy resources (DERs) technologies that produce electricity from renewable energy sources.
