Multiply resonant distributed-feedback lasers

In this paper, we propose, analyze, and experimentally demonstrate a new type of distributed feedback laser, the multiply-resonant distributed feed-back (MRDFB) laser. For active media having broad, partially- or fully-inhomogeneous gain lines, the MRDFB laser allows colinear lasing to occur simultaneously at several preselected wavelengths.

Distributed feedback fiber Raman laser

We analyze the properties of a distributed feedback fiber laser based on Raman amplification. Such a laser is quite practical and has a number of novel properties. We model numerically the laser dynamics, analyze in detail the role of the nonlinear refractive index of the fiber and argue on the optimal design parameters.

Multicore fiber distributed feedback lasers

We demonstrate parallel fabrication of seven fiber distributed feedback (DFB) lasers in a hexagonally arrayed multicore core Er doped fiber with 40 μm core spacing. DFB grating cavities 8 cm long and operating near 1545 nm were fabricated with a single UV inscription exposure.
