Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Fractional derivative in continuous-time Markov processes and applications to epidemics in networks

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Continuous-time Markov processes are governed by the Chapman-Kolmogorov differential equation. We show that replacing the standard time derivative of the governing equation with a Caputo fractional derivative of order ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

An Analysis of Controllability Criteria for Higher-Order Caputo Fractional Differential Systems With State and Control Delays

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations
The present study investigates the controllability problems for higher-order semilinear fractional differential systems (HOSLFDSs) with state and control delays in the context of the Caputo fractional derivative.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Generalized Fourier transforms applied to fractional derivatives and Quantum Statistics Distributions

open access: yes, 2019
In the present article the author extends the Fourier transform to a more general class of functions; First to power-law functions with integer and half-integer exponents then to the widely used quantum statistics function (Fermi-Dirac and Bose-Einstein-distributions).

Dağılımlı mertebeden kesirli türev ve integral = Distributed order fractional derivative and integral /

open access: yes, 2022
In this thesis, which is prepared as a Master of Science thesis, a numerical method has been researched to find approximate solutions of a distributed order differential equation, which includes the concepts of distributional order derivative and integral.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

An accurate collocation method for distributed order time fractional nonlinear diffusion wave equation with error analysis

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics
The distributed-order fractional nonlinear diffusion-wave problem is a mathematical model that combines the concepts of fractional calculus and nonlinear diffusion-wave equations.
