Protection of distribution networks with distributed generation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The share of electric power from small scale Distributed Generation (DG) connected to low voltage distribution networks (DNs) is increasing in the electricity market day by day as this technology is not only becoming cheaper relative to other resources ...

Fructose‐Based Single‐Chain Polymer Nanoparticles for GLUT1–Mediated Delivery: Impact of Polymer Design on Uptake and In Vivo Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐chain nanoparticles have been proposed as drug delivery carriers, but adding a tail can significantly enhance their performance. This was demonstrated using a tadpole‐like structure comprising a head prepared from a UV‐crosslinked fructose‐based glycopolymer capable of targeting GLUT receptors, combined with a PEG‐based tail. Compared with other

Advanced Pareto Front Non-Dominated Sorting Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization for Optimal Placement and Sizing of Distributed Generation

open access: yesEnergies, 2016
This paper proposes an advanced Pareto-front non-dominated sorting multi-objective particle swarm optimization (Advanced-PFNDMOPSO) method for optimal configuration (placement and sizing) of distributed generation (DG) in the radial distribution system ...

Distribution Network Protection Considering Grid Code Requirements for Distributed Generation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
peer reviewedThe amount of inverter based distributed generation (DG) connected to the low and medium voltage levels is increasing rapidly. Their growing impact on the power system has already driven some distribution network operators to start imposing ...

Affinity‐Tuned Albumin Hitchhiking Extends the Bioorthogonal Capture Window in Pretargeting Radiotheranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

Gardiquimod Nanoemulsion Targets Cutaneous Leishmaniasis Lesions Reducing Systemic Toxicity and Parasite Burden

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoemulsion delivery of a TLR7 agonist enhances safety and promotes colocalization with Leishmania‐infected macrophages in skin lesions, enabling a ∼2‐log reduction in parasite burden. However, tissue‐level constraints and TLR‐driven regulatory feedback generate a mixed immune response that limits complete parasite clearance.

Investigating the Impacts of Distributed Generation on Transmission Expansion Cost: An Australian Case Study [PDF]

open access: yes
Distributed generation (DG) is rapidly increasing its penetration level in Australia, and is expected to play a more important role in the power industry. An important benefit of DG is its ability to defer transmission investments.

Optimal Distributed Generation (DG) Allocation for Losses Reduction Using Improved Particle Swarm Optimization (IPSO) Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The optimal aloccation of Distributed Generation (DG) was most important aspect of DG connected to electrical\ud network scheme development. The methods to determine optimal allocation of DG like SGA dan PSO had\ud weakness.
