Our systematic review of 181 published studies investigated seedling traits of native grass, forb, and shrub species across diverse environmental conditions in the continental United States. We found that most studies focused on individuals younger than 90 days old, with only 24% of studies measuring seedling traits beyond this window.

This study reconstructs long‐term vegetation dynamics at the boreal–temperate forest ecotone in eastern Canada using soil charcoal, pollen records, and forest inventories. Results reveal a delayed expansion of thermophilous tree species and a late borealization of the landscape in relation to climate change, alongside recent stand‐scale shifts driven ...

An Evaluation Framework for Post‐Trained Bookkeeping Language Models
ABSTRACT Supervised fine‐tuning (SFT) enables large language models (LLMs) to acquire domain‐specific knowledge, yet the resulting trade‐off between specialization and general capability preservation remains poorly understood. This paper investigates this trade‐off systematically by fine‐tuning three open‐source LLMs on double‐entry bookkeeping posting

ABSTRACT The integration of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations with commercial aircraft communication systems presents critical challenges in maintaining continuous connectivity during dynamic flight conditions. Current geostationary satellite systems suffer from high round‐trip latency ( > 500 ms) and inadequate coverage at high latitudes,
