GaAs Growth on Ge‐Buffered Discontinuous (111)‐Faceted V‐Groove Silicon Substrates

This work demonstrates antiphase boundary (APB)‐free GaAs growth on Ge buffers formed on discontinuous (111) V‐groove Si substrates. The morphology of the oval window in Paranthropus robustus compared to humans and other modern primates

Abstract The oval window (OW) is an opening connecting the inner and middle ear. Its area has been shown to consistently scale with body mass (BM) in primates, and has been used alongside semi‐circular canal (SCC) size to differentiate Homo sapiens and fossil hominins, including Paranthropus robustus.

Noradrenergic and cholinergic innervation of the normal human heart and changes associated with cardiomyopathy

Abstract Autonomic nerves are crucial in cardiac function and pathology. However, data on the distribution of cholinergic and noradrenergic nerves in normal and pathologic human hearts is lacking. Nonfailing donor hearts were pressure‐perfusion fixed, imaged, and dissected. Left ventricular cardiomyopathy samples were also obtained.

Shennong 1 Chicken 40K Liquid Chip: Advancing Genetic Research in Chinese Indigenous Chickens

Animal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Based on comprehensive genomic data of Chinese indigenous chickens, we developed a specialized genotyping array for this population. Comparative analyses with published mainstream arrays and evaluations, including genetic assessment of diverse chicken types and gene mining analyses, demonstrated its superior applicability to Chinese indigenous chickens.
