Consensus control for multi-agent systems with distributed parameter models
Neurocomputing, 2018This paper addresses the consensus control problem for a class of multi-agent systems with distributed parameter models, and all the agents in the considered systems are governed by the one-dimensional parabolic equations or the one-dimensional second ...

Estimation of Distributed Parameter Systems
Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 1982The estimation and control of large flexible space structures pose significant new control technology problems. One major problem area is the closed-loop stability of a structure that has been modeled with truncated modal dynamics. Stability problems arise due to the control design process beginning with a deficient model.

Parameter Identification Problem for a Class of Distributed Parameter Systems
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983Summary: The inverse parameter problem of the permeable law for the fracture reservoir with double porosity is of great importance in the exploitation of oil or gas. The total compressibility and permeability are the unknown geological parameters in the fluid motion equations. In this paper we discuss the inverse parameter problem from the point of the

Parameter identification of distributed parameter systems
Mathematical Biosciences, 1985The problem of parameter identification for distributed parameter systems is placed in an abstract system-theoretic context, and necessary and sufficient conditions developed for parameter identifiability. Applications are given for parabolic partial differential equations.

Parameters for system effectiveness evaluation of distributed systems
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1996Summary: In a distributed computing system, the failure of one or more system components causes the degradation in its effectiveness to complete a given task as opposed to a complete network breakdown. This paper addresses the issue of degraded system effectiveness evaluation by introducing two static measures, namely, distributed program performance ...

Identification of Degenerate Distributed Parameter Systems
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1989Abstract An abstract approximation theory for the identification of linear degenerate distributed parameter systems is developed. Central to the approach is an abstract approximation result for regular and degenerate implicit distributed systems in the spirit of the Trotter-Kato Theorem for the approximation of linear semigroups.

On the exact observability of distributed parameter systems
2007 46th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007This contribution is devoted to the observability analysis of distributed parameter systems derived on the basis of the calculus of variations. A system theoretical analysis is motivated by the utilization of a differential geometric framework, which allows a covariant description of infinite dimensional systems.
