Side‐Chain Asymmetry in Quinoxaline Copolymer Donors Enables Optimal Morphology and Improved Charge Dynamics for High‐Efficiency Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Side‐chain asymmetry in quinoxaline copolymer donors modulates donor–acceptor miscibility and blend morphology in all‐polymer solar cells. The asymmetric donor PBAQ6 enables more balanced charge transport, reduced recombination, and improved charge dynamics with PYF‐T‐o, delivering PCEs of 18.35% in binary devices and 19.52% in ternary devices ...

Rapid Cooling After Device Annealing Suppresses Interface Losses in Cu2ZnSnS4 Solar Cells Enabling High Efficiency and Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rapid cooling after device annealing regulates the CdS/CZTS heterojunction and Mo/CZTS back contact, suppressing interfacial recombination and modifying the interfacial MoS2 layer, thereby enabling a 15.9% indoor PCE in pure‐sulfide CZTS solar cells.

Tri‐Functional Electrocatalysis for Zinc–Air Battery Coupled Water Splitting: A Catalyst‐Electrode‐Device‐System Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review establishes a catalyst–electrode–device–system framework for tri‐functional HER/OER/ORR electrocatalysis that couples water splitting with Zn–air batteries. Five catalyst families are covered: noble‐metal, metal‐based, single‐atom, heterostructure, and metal‐free systems.

Asymmetric Fluorinated Spiro Hole‐Transport Materials Enabled by a Rapid Core‐Forming Strategy for Blade‐Coated Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Facile synthesis of asymmetric fluorinated spiro‐type HTMs combined with blade‐coating fabrication and vacuum‐assisted crystallization enables high‐efficiency PSCs with PCEs of 24.49% (0.09 cm2) and 23.28% (1.00 cm2), along with excellent stability.

Strongly Anisotropic and Rapid Excitons Transport in Organic Crystal

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The increased exciton diffusion length is beneficial to simplify device design and enhance photoelectric conversion efficiency. But the isotropic exciton diffusion may lead to reduced transport efficiency directed to the charge separation site. Here we have successfully achieved strongly anisotropic and rapid excitons transport in thienopyrrole ...
