Precise Management of n‐Value Distribution at the 2D/3D Interface Enabling Efficient Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study elucidates the phase transition pathway of surface‐engineered perovskite films. During spin‐coating, n = 1 2D perovskite dominantly forms, while subsequent annealing drives OA+ release and induces conversion to higher n‐value 2D phases.

Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Inverse Design of Singlet Fission Candidates in the Acene family

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, we describe an AI‐driven inverse design platform predicting S1 and T1 energies across acenes with high accuracy. Using Hammett σ constants as descriptors and RNN models coupled with optimization algorithms, it efficiently explores ≈1014 structures, uncovering novel SF candidates from benzene to pentacene. Impact studies of distributed generation on power quality and protection setup of an existing distribution network

open access: yes, 2010
The increasing amount of distributed generation (DG) in distribution networks (DNs) is giving rise to power quality and protection coordination problems.

Flexoelectric Suppression of Interfacial Carrier Loss in BaTiO3 Thin‐Film Bulk Photovoltaic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In single‐crystalline BaTiO3 thin films, flexoelectric strain gradients strongly enhance photocurrent by suppressing interfacial carrier loss. Loading experiments reveal a ∼35‐fold photocurrent increase with applied force. Self‐consistent electrostatic modeling shows that strain gradients reshape the interfacial potential landscape, strengthen local ...

Drop‐Location‐Insensitive Droplet‐Based Electricity Generator Using Polydimethylsiloxane Slippery Covalently Attached Liquid Coatings

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Drop‐location sensitivity remains a key barrier to practical droplet‐based electricity generators (DEGs). Here, a polydimethylsiloxane slippery covalently attached liquid (PDMS‐SCAL)‐coated interface promotes droplet sliding instead of splitting or bouncing, allowing stable electricity generation from randomly falling raindrops. The resulting PDMS‐SCAL‐
