A Multicircle Planar Electrical Impedance Tomography Sensor for 3-D Miniature Imaging
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2023In this article, a multicircle planar electrical impedance tomography (EIT) sensor is proposed for three-dimensional (3-D) miniature imaging. There are two problems in 3-D miniature EIT imaging: 1) the spatial resolution is low since the number of ...

High Impedance Faults (HIFs) occur when an energized conductor contacts a high-impedance surface. They are critical events in Distribution Systems (DSs) as they may cause bushfires, endanger living beings, and there is no fully efficient HIF Detection ...

The input impedance of a thin (a/spl Lt//spl lambda/) center-fed dipole with an assumed sinusoidal surface current distribution is obtained by the Poynting vector method. It is shown that by retaining the surface current distribution rather than replacing it by the classical equivalent line current on the dipole axis, the Poynting vector method can be ...

Electrodynamic characteristics of a strip loop antenna located on the surface of a gyromagnetic cylinder are studied using the integral equation method. The cylinder is aligned with the gyrotropy axis and surrounded by an isotropic magnetodielectric medium. A rigorous solution for the antenna current excited by a time-harmonic given voltage is obtained.

A Distributed High-Impedance Fault Detection and Protection Scheme in DC Microgrids
IEEE Transactions on Power DeliveryThis paper proposes a high-impedance fault (HIF) detection and protection scheme for DC microgrids. HIFs occur when a (live) conductor makes contact with a surface which restricts the flow of fault current to a level that cannot be reliably sensed ...
