Lightning Distribution Characteristics in Suzhou

2011 Fourth International Joint Conference on Computational Sciences and Optimization, 2011
Based on the data of Lightning Location System(LLS) from 2002 to 2009 in Suzhou, the spatial and temporal characteristics of cloud-to-ground lightning(CG) are analyzed. The results show that the daily stroke numbers change as the double peak distribution, fewer lightning activity occurs at about 10:00 am, the most of the CG lightning occur at 02:00 am ...

Current distribution characteristics of CFRP panels

Electronics and Communications in Japan, 2012
AbstractCFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) is widely used in the structures of aircraft, automobiles, wind turbines, and rockets because of its qualities of high mechanical strength, low weight, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability. However, these structures are often at risk of being struck by lightning.

Generalized Distribution Network Head Loss Characteristics

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1960
Principles for analysis of complex distribution systems; head losses over wide range of demand and equalizing storage rates can be calculated directly, based on only two or three complete network analyses, under design assumptions employed in normal practice.

Technical Characteristics of Distribution Simulators

Management Science, 1963
The technical characteristics of a procedure to simulate a national distribution system are discussed and compared to linear programming techniques often used in such analyses. The manner in which the cost-generating elements of the system were structured for simulation and the procedure for assigning customers to warehouses are both examined in ...

Arsenic Distribution and Pollution Characteristics

2019
Arsenic is abundant in the earth’s crust and has been found in more than 300 minerals in nature. As a compound with other elements such as oxygen, chlorine, and sulfur, arsenic is widely distributed in minerals and ores that contain copper or lead.

Option Pricing and Distribution Characteristics

Computational Economics, 2014
A number of flexible distributions (generalized beta of the second kind, inverse hyperbolic sine (IHS), $$g$$ g -and- $$h$$ h , Weibull, Burr-3, Burr-12, generalized gamma, reciprocal gamma) are examined in the setting of option-pricing to explore potential improvements over the standard assumption of lognormal returns.

Distribution characteristics of salt contaminants

Proceedings of 2001 International Symposium on Electrical Insulating Materials (ISEIM 2001). 2001 Asian Conference on Electrical Insulating Diagnosis (ACEID 2001). 33rd Symposium on Electrical and Electronic Insulating Materials and Applications in System, 2002
In this paper, the distribution characteristics of salt contaminants with the distance from sea in South Korea were investigated to evaluate the suitability of KEPCO's design standard for contamination. To measure the equivalent salt deposit density (ESDD), the conventional brush wiping method was used for about 150 sites, most of which were ...

Probability Distributions of Quantitative Characteristics

1991
A population is the total quantity of all relevant items. A true population always has a finite range, for example a lot with a total N. An assumed population can have an infinite or finite range.

Income Distribution and Household Characteristics∗

Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies, 1985
The paper identifies the characteristics of Indonesian households ranked according to monthly household income. Characteristics examined include sector in which the household head derives most of his or her income, the age, sex, occupational and educational status of the household head and, in the case of agricultural households, land owned and ...

[Characteristics of glycosylated hemoglobin distribution].

Folia medica Cracoviensia, 1992
On the basis of 1518 values of concentration of glycosylated Hb in blood of workers responsible for safety in railroad transportation authors tried to calculate the range of normal values of this parameter. It was assumed that distribution of GHb in a healthy part of population is normal.
