Distribution Functions and Characteristic Functions
1978Distribution functions are mathematical artifacts with properties that are independent of any probabilistic setting. Notwithstanding, most of the theorems of interest are geared to d.f.s of r.v.s and the majority of proofs are simpler and more intuitive when couched in terms of r.v.s having, or probability measures determined by, the given d.f.s. Distributional characteristics for Ireland : a note
2009The distributional characteristic is a measure which can be used in many applications in social cost-benefit analysis. In the application here, the distributional characteristics of a number of broad aggregates of goods are calculated for Ireland. These calculations can aid in assessing the distributional implications of price and tax changes.

Examining distributional characteristics of clusters.
Bulletin de la Societe des sciences medicales du Grand-Duche de Luxembourg, 2010Standard cluster analysis creates clusters based on the criterion that their members be closer to each other than to members of other clusters. In this article, it is proposed to examine empirical clusters that result from standard clustering, with the goal of assessing whether they contradict distributional assumptions. Four models are proposed.

Distribution Functions and Characteristic Functions
1977In pr. theory, a distribution junction (d.f.), to be denoted by F, with or without affixes, is a nondecreasing function, continuous from the left and bounded by 0 and 1 on R.

Distribution Characteristics of General Equilibrium
1979The previous chapter outlined the modern theory of general equilibrium and indicated the significance of this for an understanding of the distributional relationships that hold in an equilibrium of supply and demand. Here we consider these distributional characteristics in more detail.

DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF CHICKEN ECTOPARASITES
This article presents literature data and results of preliminary research aboutectoparasites that are widespread and cause great economic damage in chicken coops and somepoultry farms. Their biology, distribution, clinical signs, epizootology and preventive measuresare presented.openaire +1 more source
Probability Distributions and Characteristic Functions
1975This chapter contains a summary of the basic concepts and theorems of the theory of probability that are needed in the following chapters. The proofs of most of the statements are omitted; they can be found in the texts of, among others, Gnedenko [23], Feller [147, 148], Loeve [64] and Lukacs [286].
