Polynomial Fitting-Based Model for Tails of Radar Clutter Amplitude Distribution [PDF]
When high-resolution radar detected complex scenarios such as low-altitude and sea surfaces, the clutter amplitude distribution exhibited significant heavy-tailed characteristics.

Distribution-free Tests of fit for Continuous Distribution Functions
A class of statistics, large enough to comprise those used in all the known distribution-free tests of fit for continuous distribution functions, is characterized by a structure called "structure ($d$)." A number of statistics of this class may be constructed and used for tests of fit.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Fuzzy Performance between Surface Fitting and Energy Distribution in Turbulence Runner
Because the application of surface fitting algorithms exerts a considerable fuzzy influence on the mathematical features of kinetic energy distribution, their relation mechanism in different external conditional parameters must be quantitatively analyzed.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

On Some Characterizations of the Extended Generalised Shifted Lindley Distribution
In this article, we unravel an extension of shifted version of Lindley distribution, termed as extended generalized shifted Lindley (EGSL) distribution.

Fitting Performance of Different Models on Loess Particle Size Distribution Curves
The soil water characteristic curve (SWCC) describes the relationship between matric suction and moisture of soil, the testing process of which is time-consuming. The test time of particle size distribution (PSD), in contrast, is relatively short.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
