On Prime E-ideals of Almost Distributive Lattices

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2023
In an almost distributive lattice (ADL), the idea of E-ideals is introduced, and their properties are discussed. In terms of a congruence, an equivalence is established between the minimal prime Eideals of an ADL and its quotient ADL.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Distributive sublattices of a lattice [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1972
There are given necessary and sufficient conditions for a subset of a lattice L (or of a complete lattice L ) to generate a distributive sublattice of L (or a completely distributive closed sublattice of

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

R-ideals of Almost Distributive Lattices [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Systems
The concepts have been introduced in Almost DistributiveLattices(ADLs), namely, R-ideals and-ideals. A set ofconditions has been identified that are equivalent to converting anE-ideal into an R-ideal.

On the Lightweight Potential of Laser Additive Manufactured NiTi Triply Periodic Minimal Sheet Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the lightweight potential of laser additive‐manufactured NiTi triply periodic minimal surface sheet lattices. It systematically investigates the effects of relative density and unit cell size on surface quality, deformation recovery, compression behavior, and energy absorption.

Modal Logic of Lattices

open access: yesBulletin of the Section of Logic
We prove that the modal logic of lattices with the accessibility relation of being isomorphic to a sublattice is S4.2. The same is proven for modular and distributive lattices.
