Affecting the Properties of Copper–Graphene Electroconductive Composite by Severe Plastic Deformation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Copper‐based composites enhanced with carbon feature convenient mechanical properties and favorable electric conductivity. Processing via deformation and thermomechanical treatments can introduce advantageous microstructures further enhancing their performance. Herein, copper–graphene powder‐based composites are directly consolidated via rotary swaging

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

$\delta$-ideals in pseudo-complemented distributive lattices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
summary:The concept of $\delta$-ideals is introduced in a pseudo-complemented distributive lattice and some properties of these ideals are studied. Stone lattices are characterized in terms of $\delta$-ideals.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Condorcet domains and distributive lattices [PDF]

open access: yes
Condorcet domains are sets of linear orders where Condorcet's effect can never occur. Works of Abello, Chameni-Nembua, Fishburn and Galambos and Reiner have allowed a strong understanding of a significant class of Condorcet domains which are distributive

Homomorphisms of complete distributive lattices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The category of all complete distributive lattices and their complete homomorphisms is universal, and this is also true for the category of all complete distributive lattices whose morphisms preserve complete joins, finite meets and an additional nullary

Efficient algorithms on distributive lattices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We present several efficient algorithms on distributive lattices. They are based on a compact representation of the lattice, called the ideal tree. This allows us to exploit regularities in the structure of distributive lattices. The algorithms include a

Symbolic Regression and Multi‐Objective Optimization of the Flory–Huggins Interaction Parameter for Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Boolean topological distributive lattices and canonical extensions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This paper presents a unified account of a number of dual category equivalences of relevance to the theory of canonical extensions of distributive lattices.
