The endomorphism ring of a distributive module

Russian Mathematical Surveys, 1995
All rings are assumed to be associative with a non-zero identity element, and all modules are unitary. The main result is: Theorem 1. Let \(R\) be the endomorphism ring of a left module \(_AN\), where either \(N\) is a distributive module that decomposes into a direct sum of quasi-injective modules, or \(N\) is a quasi-injective module that decomposes ...

Quantum Computing with Distributed Modules

2019
This thesis describes our work on optimizing quantum control and scaling up quantum computers. We demonstrate the application of automatic differentiation in quantum optimal control, which allows us to specify advanced optimization criteria and incorporate them in the optimization process of quantum control with ease.
