Discretisation and Product Distributions in Ring-LWE [PDF]
Abstract A statistical framework applicable to Ring-LWE was outlined by Murphy and Player (IACR eprint 2019/452). Its applicability was demonstrated with an analysis of the decryption failure probability for degree-1 and degree-2 ciphertexts in the homomorphic encryption scheme of Lyubashevsky, Peikert and Regev ...

Hypernear-rings with a defect of distributivity
Since in a near-ring the distributivity holds just on one side (left or right), it seems naturally to study the behaviour and properties of the set of elements that ?correct? the lack of distributivity, in other words that elements that assure the validity of the distributivity.

A distributed message-optimal assignment on rings [PDF]
Consider a set of items and a set of $m$ colors, where each item is associated to one color. Consider also $n$ computational agents connected by a ring. Each agent holds a subset of the items and items of the same color can be held by different agents. We analyze the problem of distributively assigning colors to agents in such a way that (a) each color

Distributive Noetherian centrally essential rings [PDF]
It is proved that a ring A is a right or left Noetherian, right distributive, centrally essential ring if and only if [Formula: see text], where each of the rings [Formula: see text] is either a commutative Dedekind domain or a left and right Artinian, left and right uniserial ring.

$\aleph_0$-distributive modules and rings
Let $A$ be a ring with minimum condition on principal right ideals. It is proved that $\aleph_0$-distributive right (left) $A$-modules coincide with Artinian (Noetherian) right (left) $A$-modules. Rings, over which all right modules are direct sums of $\aleph_0$-distributive coincide with rings of of finite representation type.

Distributed Job Scheduling in Rings
We give a distributed approximation algorithm for job scheduling in a ring architecture. In contrast to many other parallel scheduling models, the model we consider captures the influence of the underlying communications network by specifying that task migration from one processor to another takes time proportional to the distance between those two ...

Size distribution of ring polymers
AbstractWe present an exact solution for the distribution of sample averaged monomer to monomer distance of ring polymers. For non-interacting and local-interaction models these distributions correspond to the distribution of the area under the reflected Bessel bridge and the Bessel excursion respectively and are shown to be identical in dimensiond ≥ 2,

The definition of Azumaya algebras over commutative rings \(R\) requires the tensor product of modules over \(R\) and the twist map for the tensor product of any two \(R\)-modules.

Component graphs of vector spaces and zero-divisor graphs of ordered sets
In this paper, nonzero component graphs and nonzero component union graphs of finite-dimensional vector spaces are studied using the zero-divisor graph of a specially constructed 0–1-distributive lattice and the zero-divisor graph of rings.
