This paper critically re-examines the traditional, often monocentric, perspectives on cultural hearths and their influence on linguistic and cultural diffusion. We propose a new framework, "Remapping Sacred Flows," to investigate the dynamic interplay between linguistic divergence and the emergence of polycentric cultural hearths.
