Outcomes of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate in Patients with Chronic Painless Urinary Retention and Postvoid Residual Urine ≥ 1‐l: A Critical Evaluation at the Extreme Ends of the Spectrum

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, Volume 45, Issue 3, Page 486-493, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Objectives Chronic painless urine retention (CUR) with > 1 liter of postvoid residual urine (PVR) is a rare but serious complication of benign prostatic obstruction (BPO). This study aims to evaluate the outcomes of HoLEP in men with chronic painless urinary retention and PVR volumes exceeding 1 l. Methods We retrospectively reviewed data from

Effect of Probiotic and Synbiotic Supplementation on Growth Performance, Serum Parameters and Gut Histomorphometry in Broiler Chickens Challenged With Eimeria

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 2, March 2026.
This study assessed probiotic and synbiotic supplementation via drinking water in Eimeria challenged broilers. In a 2×3 factorial design with 360 Cobb 500 chickens, Eimeria impaired growth, FCR and gut morphology, while probiotics and synbiotics improved performance, intestinal structure and serum biochemistry, alleviating coccidiosis induced damage ...

Bachmann's Bundle‐Related Atrial Tachycardias Following Catheter Ablation of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 37, Issue 3, Page 561-571, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Atrial tachycardias (AT) after radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of atrial fibrillation (AF) may utilize Bachmann's bundle (BB). Due to their epicardial location, these ATs remain poorly understood. Objective To describe the electrophysiologic and anatomic basis of BB‐related ATs.

New information on Late Triassic sauropodomorph dinosaurs provides support for the independent acquisition of postcranial skeletal pneumaticity in avemetatarsalian lineages

open access: yesJournal of Anatomy, Volume 248, Issue 3, Page 541-578, March 2026.
PSP in early‐branching sauropodomorphs probably evolved first in the neural arches of the posterior cervical vertebrae, expanding anteriorly and posteriorly along the vertebral column. The distribution of PSP in Late Triassic early‐branching sauropodomorphs does not appear to be correlated with body size.

The Role of Functional Lumen Imaging Probe (FLIP) in Addition to High‐Resolution Manometry and Timed Barium Esophagram in Treated Achalasia Patients With Persistent or Recurrent Symptoms

open access: yesNeurogastroenterology &Motility, Volume 38, Issue 3, March 2026.
Functional lumen imaging probe did not offer additional yield over high‐resolution manometry and timed barium esophagram in identifying which treated achalasia patients with persistent or recurrent symptoms were likely to benefit from further treatment.
