Bladder Diverticulectomy: Operative Technique
Scandinavian Journal of Urology and Nephrology, 1998We present a simple technique of bladder diverticulectomy. Etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of bladder diverticula are discussed. We recommend this technique for common use, since it is safe and time-saving.

Robot-assisted laparoscopic bladder diverticulectomy
BJU International, 2012Robot-assisted laparoscopic bladder diverticulectomy (RALBD) has been increasingly reported in recent years. We review the technique of RALBD and the perioperative outcomes. We searched online databases to identify original articles related to RALBD. In the Method section, we describe our technique and reviewe several techniques for identification and ...

Robot-Assisted Bladder Diverticulectomy
Journal of Endourology, 2014To describe our technique for robot-assisted bladder diverticulectomy (RABD).Ten patients underwent RABD using an extra- or transvesical approach. Three (30%) patients underwent concomitant procedures: Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, robot-assisted simple prostatectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate. All RABDs were performed ...

Extraperitoneal Laparoscopic Caliceal Diverticulectomy
Journal of Endourology, 1996Three women with symptomatic stone-containing caliceal diverticula in the right kidney were treated by extraperitoneal laparoscopic diverticulectomy. The diverticula measured 31 x 21 mm, 15 x 12 mm, and 12 x 9 mm, with the calculi measuring 10 x 8 mm, 5 x 4 mm, and 6 x 6 mm, respectively. The site of the diverticulum was identified by the presence of a

Complications of Urethral Diverticulectomy
2012Urethral diverticulum (UD) is a rare condition and frequently can present diagnostic dilemmas to the clinician [1]. Once the correct diagnosis is made, surgical excision is the mainstay of definitive treatment. Although surgical treatment of urethral diverticula includes marsupialization, designed for a distal diverticula ostium, this review will focus

Laparoscopic Meckel’s Diverticulectomy
2016Meckel’s diverticulum (MD) is the most common congenital anomaly found in the GI tract. It is a remnant of the omphalomesenteric duct that normally obliterates between weeks 5 and 7 of fetal development. It is usually found incidentally during surgical exploration for other pathologies, and it is symptomatic in less than 5 % of people.

Laparoscopic Meckel’s Diverticulectomy
1996An “unusual” diverticulum of the small intestine was first described in 1598 by Fabricius Hildanus, but it remained for Johann Friedrich Meckel, the younger, to correctly recognize its embryologic origin in 1809 [1]. Since that time, complications of Meckel’s diverticula have become well-recogrized clinical entities, most of which are amenable to ...

Laparoscopic duodenal diverticulectomy.
Surgical endoscopy, 2002We report a case of successful laparoscopic resection of a diverticulum with gastrointestinal bleeding at the third portion of the duodenum. The patient was a 76-year-old man who suffered from persistent tarry stools. An upper gastrointestinal series and endoscopy revealed a large diverticulum with an ulcer and blood clots located at the lateral wall ...
