Abstract Mesenteric hematomas (MHs) are relatively rare and are characterized by localized bleeding in the mesenteric vascular tree presenting with abdominal pain, vomiting, abdominal distension, masses, and hypotension. We report a case of a MH which was incidentally found in a 10‐year‐old patient with a new diagnosis of ulcerative colitis (UC).

A Case of Inverted Colonic Diverticulum

Inverted colonic diverticulum (ICD) is an infrequent finding on colonoscopy, often misdiagnosed as colonic polyps. Further endoscopic intervention, such as polypectomy or biopsy, may lead to colonic perforation. For that reason, the endoscopist should be aware of the possibility of detecting these lesions when performing a colonoscopy.
