ABSTRACT This study examines the use of environmental disclosure as a strategic tool to manage legitimacy crises in a mining company, adopting critical discourse analysis (CDA) as the main methodology. Focusing on a case of environmental disaster, this research reveals how corporate narratives can be manipulated to minimize responsibility and reinforce

UEDGE modelling of detached divertor operation for long‐leg divertor geometries in ARC
Simulations of the ARC scrape‐off layer and divertor configuration are carried out using UEDGE to perform the first power‐handling assessment for the divertor design. A convective–diffusive anomalous transport model is implemented in the code to reproduce the radial plasma profiles anticipated for the device at the outer mid‐plane.

Market Perceptions of ESG Reputational Risk in the US Pharmaceutical Industry
ABSTRACT Negative ESG‐related reputational events generate significant corporate risks, particularly within sensitive sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry. Using novel reputational data, this research investigates investor perceptions of the consequences of experienced ESG breaches among US pharmaceutical firms.

ABSTRACT Digital transformation is increasingly reshaping how social enterprises organize work, engage stakeholders, and pursue social value. While prior research has examined digitalization in hybrid organizations, limited attention has been paid to how responsibility for inclusive digital transformation is enacted internally.

Thermal front analysis of detached divertors and MARFEs [PDF]
A non-linear analysis is presented of localized regions of strong divergence of parallel heat flux-thermal fronts-in the edge and scrape-off layers of tokamaks. The phenomena of divertor detachment and MARFEs are discussed in terms of one dimensional thermal conduction in the parallel co-ordinate, but retaining cross-field transport power divergence ...

An Estimation of the Heat Load Distribution on the Divertor Target Using the CSD Model
ABSTRACT Handling the heat load on the divertor target is a critical issue in the design of fusion reactors. Estimating the heat load, supported by computationally efficient simulations with varying design parameters, provides valuable input to high‐level design discussions and the development of design guidelines.

Radiative detached divertor with acceptable separatrix Zeff
The feasibility study is performed for the radiative detached divertor (RDD) concept, which characterizes a variety of detached plasmas with impurity amounts providing the highest levels of divertor radiation without X-point MARFE (XPM), based on a set of restrictive criteria for the leading plasma parameters (LPPs) including, e.g., tolerable peak ...

Experimental Factors and Techniques for Pool Boiling Heat Transfer Enhancement: A Critical Review
ABSTRACT This review presents a comprehensive assessment of active strategies for enhancing pool boiling heat transfer, with a focus on techniques that do not rely solely on the boiling surface modification. It examines a broad range of methodologies including fluid additives, external fields, mechanical interventions, and thermal‐geometric tuning that
