Analysis of Volatile Compounds in Soju, a Korean Distilled Spirit, by SPME-Arrow-GC/MS
The SPME Arrow technology—a novel solid phase micro-extraction technique—was used to analyze Soju, a traditional Korean distilled liquor, in barrels made of Quercus spp. The volatile compounds detected when the barrels were toasted were analyzed.

The Cationic Polymerization of o-Divinylbenzene

Pracaxi Oil as a Potential Inhibitor of Fat Bloom
ABSTRACT Fat bloom is one of the major technological challenges faced by the chocolate industry, caused by the polymorphic transition from β2(V) to β1(VI) crystals in cocoa butter (CB). One strategy to slow down this polymorphic transition is the addition of lipids rich in very long chain fatty acids (VLCFA), such as behenic acid.

Preparation of MOEAMCl and MAAm Based Hydrogels and Effective Use in Anionic Dye Adsorption
ABSTRACT In this study, hydrogels based on [2‐(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride (MOEAMCl) and methacrylamide (MAAm) were synthesized for the removal of anionic dyes from aqueous solutions. Following detailed characterization, the use of hydrogels for methyl orange (MO) adsorption was investigated.

ABSTRACT Messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) therapeutics produced by in vitro transcription must be purified to remove residual enzymes and free nucleotides. This study examines the use of high‐performance countercurrent membrane purification (HPCMP) for the purification of mRNA therapeutics based on differences in the rate of diffusion across ...
