In this paper, we establish several results on the divisibility among determinants of power matrices.

Abstract In the context of the European Union's (EU's) geoeconomic shift, the governance of Trade and Sustainable Development (TSD) has become a central yet contested pillar of its external trade policy. Accusations of green colonialism highlight the stakes around how partner countries interpret the EU's normative agenda.

Algebraic curves, integer sequences and a discrete Painleve transcendent [PDF]
We consider some bilinear recurrences that have applications in number theory. The explicit solution of a general three-term bilinear recurrence relation of fourth order is given in terms of the Weierstrass sigma function for an associated elliptic curve.

Primes in elliptic divisibility sequences [PDF]
Morgan Ward pursued the study of elliptic divisibility sequences initiated by Lucas, and Chudnovsky and Chudnovsky suggested looking at elliptic divisibility sequences for prime appearance.

Banking with Inside Money: An Efficiency Analysis
Abstract We show that banks do not decentralize the first best in a nominal Diamond–Dybvig economy with inside money. Furthermore, state‐contingent deposit contracts do not expand the consumption possibility set to include the first best either. Central banks can improve welfare but only for savers and only with unconventional monetary policy. Finally,

Local Elites in Chile's Pisco Valley: Dispossession, Legal Mobilisation and Intertwined Citizenship
ABSTRACT In countries in the Global South, citizenship is often closely tied to access to water and land ownership. In Latin America, the literature has primarily explored social mobilisation and identity reconfiguration in response to development‐driven processes of land and water dispossession affecting peasants, rural and Indigenous communities ...

Abstract While research on ecosystems and their orchestration has grown rapidly, we still know little about how individual strategic leaders may mobilize ecosystemic action in times of disruption. This article addresses this gap by drawing on an in‐depth case study of the Antwerp Square Mile, the world’s oldest and most renowned diamond trading ...

A Matrix Approach for Divisibility Properties of the Generalized Fibonacci Sequence
We give divisibility properties of the generalized Fibonacci sequence by matrix methods. We also present new recursive identities for the generalized Fibonacci and Lucas sequences.

Divisibility Properties of Recurrent Sequences
Let m, r ∈ N. We will show, that the recurrent sequences xn = x n r n−1 + 1 (mod g), xn = x n! n−1 + 1 (mod g) and xn = x r n n−1 + 1 (mod g) are periodic modulo m, where m ∈ N, and we will find some estimations of periods and pre-periodic parts.

ABSTRACT This study develops a novel multivariate stochastic framework for assessing systemic risks, such as climate and nature‐related shocks, within production or financial networks. By embedding a linear stochastic fluid network, interpretable as a generalized vector Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process, into the production network of interdependent ...
