Valuations on tensor powers of a division algebra
Journal of Algebra, 2005 Let \(F\) be a field with a valuation \(v\) and let \(D\) be a central division \(F\)-algebra of finite dimension \([D:F]\). The conditions under which \(v\) extends to a valuation of \(D\) have been well-understood 15-20 years ago by Wadsworth, Ershov and the first author.

Division of Power Series: Recursive and Non-Recursive Formulas
Anais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências, 2022 In this paper we propose a new formula to divide power series. We develop two versions of the formula: a recursive and a non-recursive one, the latter aiming to reduce the computational cost for high-order series truncation. To use the non-recursive formula we define certain fundamental sets of summation indexes.
