Curves of best approximation on wonderful varieties
Abstract We give an unconditional proof of the Coba conjecture for wonderful compactifications of adjoint type for semisimple Lie groups of type An$A_n$. We also give a proof of a slightly weaker conjecture for wonderful compactifications of adjoint type for arbitrary Lie groups.

Abstract Let K$K$ be a mixed‐characteristic local field. For an integer m⩾0$m \geqslant 0$, we denote by Km/K$K^m / K$ the maximal m$m$‐step solvable extension of K$K$, and by GKm$G_K^m$ the maximal m$m$‐step solvable quotient of the absolute Galois group GK$G_K$ of K$K$.

A note on the birational geometry of tropical line bundles
Given a closed subvariety Y of a n-dimensional torus, we study how the tropical line bundles of Trop(Y) can be induced by line bundles living on a tropical compactification of Y in a toric variety, following the construction of Jenia Tevelev.
