Objective Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.

Many patients with cerebellar ataxia have dizziness caused by oculomotor or peripheral vestibular deficits; however, there is little evidence supporting the use of vestibular rehabilitation for this population.

A Wearable Brain–Computer Interface for Mitigating Car Sickness via Attention Shifting
Car sickness poses a major challenge in vehicular travel, yet effective nonpharmacological solutions are scarce. We developed a wearable, closed‐loop mindfulness BCI that uses real‐time EEG‐based neurofeedback to shift attention away from motion‐induced discomfort. Validated in real‐car experiments involving >100$>100$ susceptible individuals, over 83%

Vestibular syncope: clinical characteristics and mechanism
Background and Objectives Vestibular syncope is a condition in which vertigo‐induced hemodynamic changes cause syncope. This study investigated the clinical and laboratory findings of vestibular syncope and tried to refine our knowledge of the mechanism ...

A Tac1‐Expressing Brainstem Pathway Underlies the Pathogenesis of Trigeminal Neuralgia
A critical TG‐Sp5CTac1‐PBNTac1 pathway drives trigeminal neuropathic pain (TNP). Tac1‐expressing parabrachial nucleus (PBNTac1) neurons exhibit heightened responses to innocuous stimuli in TNP, and chemogenetic inhibition of these neurons effectively prevents TNP development.

Machine Learning for Green Solvents: Assessment, Selection and Substitution
Environmental regulations have intensified demand for green solvents, but discovery is limited by Solvent Selection Guides (SSGs) that quantify solvent sustainability. Training a machine learning model on GlaxoSmithKline SSG, a database of sustainability metrics for 10,189 solvents, GreenSolventDB is developed. Integrated with Hansen solubility metrics,

Attention, predictive learning, and the inverse base-rate effect: Evidence from event-related potentials [PDF]
We report the first electrophysiological investigation of the inverse base-rate effect (IBRE), a robust non-rational bias in predictive learning. In the IBRE, participants learn that one pair of symptoms (AB) predicts a frequently occurring disease ...

Selinexor and Venetoclax Combination in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia
ABSTRACT Preclinical studies showed a synergistic antileukemia activity with combination of selective XPO1 inhibitor selinexor (SEL) and venetoclax (VEN), with potential to overcome VEN resistance by reducing the anti‐apoptotic protein MCL1. In an investigator‐sponsored, open‐label, phase Ib study (NCT03955783), adult patients with relapsed or ...
