Behaviour of MoDTC in DLC/DLC and DLC/steel contacts
Tribology International, 2012Abstract Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings are beginning to be used on machine components parts because of their excellent friction and wear resistance properties. It is hence important to be able to formulate lubricants able to work effectively with these coatings.

Adhesion Study of Dlc/Cr/Dlc and Dlc/Ti/Dlc Sandwich Structures on Hardened Steel
MRS Proceedings, 1996AbstractHard amorphous hydrogenated carbon, also referred to as diamond-like carbon films, are of technological interest as protection coatings due to their special properties such as high hardness, low friction, low wear, chemical inertness and electrical insulation. In this paper a study of the adhesion properties of multilayer structures composed of

This paper presents a novel approach to proving the full Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture for all elliptic curves over the rational numbers. The proof synthesizes previous foundational work with a new computational technique called "synergy-lift" to resolve the remaining open questions.

Friction properties of DLC/DLC contacts in base oil
Tribology International, 2011Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings are promising surface coatings in terms of friction and wear performance and are beginning to be introduced in internal combustion engines, mainly because of the need to reduce friction and because of compositional constraints on engine lubricants.

Tribological properties of multilayer DLC/W-DLC films on Si
Thin Solid Films, 2008Abstract Multilayer films of diamond-like carbon (DLC) and tungsten-containing diamond-like carbon (W-DLC) films were deposited onto silicon wafers using radio frequency chemical vapor deposition (RFCVD) and a magnetron sputtering method. The W-DLC layer was deposited on the silicon wafer with less than 60 W magnetron output.
