Motivic zeta function via dlt modification [PDF]
Given a smooth variety $X$ and a regular function $f$ on it, by considering the dlt modification, we define the dlt motivic zeta function $Z^{\rm dlt}_{\rm mot}(s)$ which does not depend on the choice of the dlt modification.Comment: 11 ...

DLT Compliance Reporting [PDF]
Today, local financial institutions are responsible for submitting compliance reporting data to the supervisory authorities. This is commonly referred to as the ‘push model’. The increasing complexity of reporting obligations often results in delayed reporting which delivers a fragmented and incomplete macroeconomic overview of the financial sector ...

DLT federation for Edge robotics [PDF]
The concept of federation in 5G and NFV networks aims to provide orchestration of services across multiple administrative domains. Edge robotics, as a field of robotics, implements the robot control on the network edge by relying on low-latency and reliable access connectivity.

DELTA: DLT-Database Synchronization
An increasingly common application for DLTs is their exploitation in enterprise systems operated by a consortium of organizations, who may assume different roles and whose interaction takes place over a blockchain network (in this scope, often permissioned), which holds a data state that they need to query frequently.

Fairness Notions in DAG-Based DLTs
This paper investigates the issue of fairness in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), specifically focusing on the shortcomings observed in current blockchain systems due to Miner Extractable Value (MEV) phenomena and systemic centralization. We explore the potential of Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) as a solution to address or mitigate these fairness ...

Phase I dose-escalation study of the mTOR inhibitor sirolimus and the HDAC inhibitor vorinostat in patients with advanced malignancy. [PDF]
Preclinical models suggest that histone deacetylase (HDAC) and mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitors have synergistic anticancer activity. We designed a phase I study to determine the safety, maximum tolerated dose (MTD), recommended phase II ...

The base line problem in DLTS technique [PDF]
This paper describes a solution to suppress the base line problem in DLTS spectroscopy using a lock-in amplifier. The method has been used to characterize deep levels in a GaAs Schottky diode. Comparison with the classical method based on the use of a capacitance meter in the differential mode is established.

Salt-based autopeering for DLT-networks [PDF]
The security of any Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) depends on the safety of the network layer. Much effort has been put into understanding the consensus layer of DLTs. However, many network layer designs seem ad-hoc and lack a careful analysis of the influence of the design decisions on the whole DLT system.

Gateway-based Interoperability for DLT
<p>Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology (DLT) to manage data in a decentralised way. During the last years, interoperability has become one of the main challenges within blockchain research as blockchains increasingly require integration between each other. Indeed, blockchains work by design in silos of information as interoperability is

Dynamic Transitions for Quasilinear Systems and Cahn-Hilliard equation with Onsager mobility [PDF]
The main objectives of this article are two-fold. First, we study the effect of the nonlinear Onsager mobility on the phase transition and on the well-posedness of the Cahn-Hilliard equation modeling a binary system.
