The polyoxometalate-based 1D coordination polymer [[Cu(DMF)₆][PMo(V)Mo(VI)₁₁O₄₀Cu(DMF)₄]·DMF1 was synthesized and characterized by IR, UV spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Each Cu(II) center has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry.

Comparison of oxygen-free graphene sheets obtained in DMF and DMF-aqua media

A cluster complex of the composition [CsK2(μ3-DMF)2(μ-DMF)3(DMF)4][{Re6(μ3-Se)8}Br6] is obtained by the reaction of K4[{Re6(μ3-Se)8}(OH)6]·8H2O with hydrobromic acid in the presence of CsBr and its subsequent crystallization by diethyl ether diffusion in a dimethylformamide solution.

N, N‐Dimethylformamide (DMF) has been implicated in the production of hepatotoxicity in male and female F344 rats. Repeated administration of dosages of 0.75 and 1.0 ml/kg DMF for up to 12 weeks produced massive liver necrosis associated with decreased body weight gain.

The Inhalation Toxicity of Dimethylformamide (DMF)

Abstract Animals were exposed 58 times to dimethylformamide for 5.5 hours at 23 ppm followed by 0.5 hour at 426 ppm. No clinical signs of toxicity were observed in rats, mice, rabbits, or guinea pigs. Observed effects led to conclusion that the superimposed, short-term, peak exposure produced a hazard.
