Cluster Dynamical Mean Field analysis of the Mott transition
We investigate the Mott transition using a cluster extension of dynamical mean field theory (DMFT). In the absence of frustration we find no evidence for a finite temperature Mott transition.

Dispersion Energies with the i-DMFT Method
The recently proposed i-DMFT method [Wang and Baerends, Phys. Rev. Lett. 128, 013001 (2022)] has been proven to be ideally suited to recover strong static correlation in dissociating covalent bonds. Here, the application to van der Waals bonding is investigated using the prototype van der Waals systems triplet H2 and ground-state He2.

Mott physics and spin fluctuations: a unified framework
We present a formalism for strongly correlated electrons systems which consists in a local approximation of the dynamical three-leg interaction vertex. This vertex is self-consistently computed with a quantum impurity model with dynamical interactions in

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Socio‐economic inequalities in oral health are a universal phenomenon. This study investigated socio‐economic differences in Irish adolescents' oral health and the potential role of behaviour (oral health behaviours), material (structural, material and economic constraints) and psychosocial factors (parental stress and ...

Metallic surface of a Mott insulator - Mott insulating surface of a metal
The dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT) is employed to study the Mott transition in the semi-infinite Hubbard model at half-filling and zero temperature.

In patients with severe obesity, periodontitis is associated with oral microbiota dysbiosis which influences gut microbiota composition by increasing Proteobacteria proportion. These alterations are linked to systemic immune and metabolic changes, including higher circulating levels of anti‐Porphyromonas gingivalis lgG and deregulated lipid profile ...

INTRODUCTION: Untreated dental caries is the most prevalent chronic disease in adults and untreated caries in deciduous teeth is the tenth most frequent chronic disease. Most of the studies do not present a representative population and there are no comparative studies between Decay - Missing - Filled in permanent teeth (dmft/DMFT) and International ...
