TRPA1+αCGRP+ sensory neurons in the nodose ganglion detect external insults such as lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and interact directly with pulmonary neuroendocrine cells (PNECs), promoting their activation and proliferation. This neural‐epithelial interaction amplifies lung inflammation.

Chromatin Topology Reconfiguration Orchestrates Thermotolerant Male Fertility via GhAL5 in Cotton
This study investigates cotton’s high‐temperature (HT) response using multi‑omics. Dynamic 3D genome changes drive expression bias affecting male fertility. The tolerant line shows controlled chromatin dynamics, while the sensitive line exhibits overactivation.

Ribosome Homeostasis Regulated by SETD2 Preserves Intestinal Epithelial Barrier
SETD2 ablation causes dysregulation and recruitment defects of ribosome biogenesis factors, resulting in translational disorders of barrier maintenance genes, thereby compromising the intestinal barrier. These findings unveil a previously unappreciated role of ribosome biogenesis and translational regulation in preserving the intestinal epithelial ...

Interplay between cellular metabolism and DNA viruses
Journal of Medical Virology, 2022Viruses as intracellular pathogens take over the host metabolism and reprogram to facilitate optimal virus production. DNA viruses can cause alterations in several metabolic pathways, including aerobic glycolysis also known as the Warburg effect, pentose

Phycodnaviridae– large DNA algal viruses
Archives of Virology, 2002Members and prospective members of the family Phycodnaviridae are large icosahedral, dsDNA (180 to 560 kb) viruses that infect eukaryotic algae. The genomes of two phycodnaviruses have been sequenced: the 331 kb genome of Paramecium bursaria chlorella virus (PBCV-1) and more recently, the 336 kb genome of the Ectocarpus siliculosus virus (EsV-1). EsV-1

Physical Chemistry of DNA Viruses
Annual Review of Physical Chemistry, 2009The relative simplicity of viruses makes it possible to apply generic physical approaches to the understanding of their structure and function. We focus here on viruses that have double-stranded (ds)DNA genomes that are enclosed in a protein container called the capsid.

Apoptosis regulators from DNA viruses
Current Opinion in Immunology, 1998The past year has seen an considerable expansion in knowledge about the field of apoptosis modulators expressed by DNA viruses. These diverse classes of virus-encoded regulators include caspase inhibitors, signal transduction effectors, Bcl-2 homologs, cell cycle control proteins, transcriptional regulators, reactive oxide scavengers, kinases, 'death ...
