Neural Network–Assisted Metasurface Retroreflector With Wide‐Angle Adaptivity

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
This work proposes a wide‐angle, multi‐polarization, self‐sensing, and self‐adaptive intelligent metasurface retroreflector, with a planar profile and ultrathin thickness. By integrating a pre‐trained artificial neural network (ANN), the metasurface retroreflector can recognize the incident angle and promptly adapt to changes in the incoming wave.

Fast ambiguous DOA elimination method of DOA measurement for hybrid massive MIMO receiver

open access: yesScience China Information Sciences, 2022
DOA estimation for massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system can provide ultra-high-resolution angle estimation. However, due to the high computational complexity and cost of all digital MIMO systems, a hybrid analog digital (HAD) structure MIMO was proposed.

Research progress on the depth of anesthesia monitoring based on the electroencephalogram

open access: yesIbrain, Volume 11, Issue 1, Page 32-43, Spring 2025.
Electroencephalogram (EEG) can noninvasive, continuous, and real‐time monitor the state of brain electrical activity, and the monitoring of EEG can reflect changes in the depth of anesthesia (DOA). The development of artificial intelligence can enable anesthesiologists to extract, analyze, and quantify DOA from complex EEG data.

Underwater Target Direction of Arrival Estimation by Small Acoustic Sensor Array Based on Sparse Bayesian Learning

open access: yesPolish Maritime Research, 2017
Assuming independently but identically distributed sources, the traditional DOA (direction of arrival) estimation method of underwater acoustic target normally has poor estimation performance and provides inaccurate estimation results.

bacNeo: A Computational Toolkit for Identifying Bacteria‐Derived Neoantigens in Human Cancers

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
We present bacterial neoantigen (bacNeo), a multi‐omics‐based computational software to classify bacterial components (BACC), type bacteria‐bound HLA alleles (BACH), and prioritize bacterial peptides as neoantigens (BACP). Bacterial neoantigen potential is quantified by score for peptide antigenicity recognition & kinetics (SPARK), enabling ...

Urologic Bacteriome: The Hero or the Villain in Prostate Cancer Onset, Progression, and Treatment?

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most frequently diagnosed cancer in men worldwide and the fifth leading cause of cancer‐related mortality, presenting urgent unmet clinical needs in diagnosis and treatment. The recognition of the microbiome as a key factor in human health has prompted numerous studies, revealing an exciting new approach to ...

The upper bound of multi-source DOA information in sensor array and its application in performance evaluation

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2020
Direction of arrival (DOA) estimation has been discussed extensively in the array signal processing field. In this paper, the authors focus on the multi-source DOA information which is defined as the mutual information between the DOA and the received ...
