The concept of high‐dimensional EM modulation using the STMA for physical layer secure communication is illustrated in figure. The STMA consists of a series of programmable unit cells, with 1‐bit reconfigurable phase states (0/π). The STMA is excited by a monochromatic continuous wave (CW) at frequency fc and controlled by a field‐programmable gate ...

Gridless DOA Estimation With Multiple Frequencies
Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation is widely applied in acoustic source localization. A multi-frequency model is suitable for characterizing the broadband structure in acoustic signals. In this paper, the continuous (gridless) DOA estimation problem with multiple frequencies is considered.

Abstract This study presents a coupled population balance model (PBM) for describing the degree‐of‐agglomeration (DoA) in crystallization by independently tracking total particle and agglomerate number densities. Applied to an industrial active pharmaceutical ingredient, the model outperformed bridge‐counting methods and accurately captured DoA trends ...

Predictive models successfully screen nanoparticles for toxicity and cellular uptake. Yet, complex biological dynamics and sparse, nonstandardized data limit their accuracy. The field urgently needs integrated artificial intelligence/machine learning, systems biology, and open‐access data protocols to bridge the gap between materials science and safe ...

Parametric Models for Doa Trajectory Localization
Directions of arrival (DOA) estimation or localization of sources is an important problem in many applications for which numerous algorithms have been proposed. Most localization methods use block-level processing that combines multiple data snapshots to estimate DOA within a block. The DOAs are assumed to be constant within the block duration. However,

YOLO-DoA: A lightweight, real-time, and effective implementation for DoA estimation [PDF]
In this correspondence, an efficient YOLOv3-based approach for DoA estimation named YOLO-DoA is proposed, which is implemented as a detection task to spatially separated angular boxes. DoAs of sources with confidence scores are directly predicted from the spectrum proxy with YOLO-DoA and an end-to-end estimation is realized.

Aim The aim of this study was to develop a novel workflow to identify human urine biomarkers for drugs of abuse and new psychoactive substances. Metabolites of amphetamine, cocaine, LSD, MDMA, methamphetamine, THC, MDMB‐CHMICA, and MDPPP were first identified in a zebrafish embryo (ZE) metabolism study followed by comparison to most abundant human ...
