ABSTRACT Current clinical approaches for knee cartilage repair are often limited by hypertrophy and fibrosis in the regenerated tissues. A decellularized tissue‐engineered hyaline cartilage graft (dLhCG), composed of a type II collagen‐based extracellular matrix, has been developed to overcome this limitation.
