Metabolic Changes in Living Human Lymphoma Cells Intervening NAD + Metabolism as Revealed by NAD(P)H‐Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging and Para‐Hydrogen‐Induced Polarization NMR

open access: yesCytometry Part A, Volume 107, Issue 11, Page 750-762, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Proliferating cells have a sustained high demand for regeneration of electron acceptors as nicotinamide dinucleotide (phosphate) (NAD(P)+/NAD(P)H) is involved in a number of critical redox reactions within cells. However, their analysis in living cells is still challenging.

Evaluating the Impact of Phosphate‐Buffered Saline Solutions on the Micellar Behavior of Dimeric Surfactants and Their Interaction With Lipid Membranes

open access: yesJournal of Surfactants and Detergents, Volume 28, Issue 6, Page 1297-1307, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Over the past few years, dicationic alkylammonium bromide dimeric surfactants have emerged as promising agents for numerous biotechnology and medical applications. However, there have been few studies examining their behavior within a biological context, particularly regarding the impact physiological buffers have on their physico‐chemical ...

How Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Micelles Affect the Coordination and Peroxidase‐Like Activity of the Hemin–Aβ16 Complex

open access: yesChemPlusChem, Volume 90, Issue 10, October 9, 2025.
The interaction between iron‐heme and amyloid‐β (Aβ) peptides can be strongly influenced by the cellular compartment. The presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate as a lipid‐mimicking system shows a protective role of the membrane by hindering both the formation of the heme–Aβ complex and the peroxidase‐like activity, reducing the accessibility of the lipid ...

Decoding Buried Interfaces in Perovskite Solar Cells: Core Issues, Strategic Engineering, and Prospects for High‐Efficiency Stable Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 40, October 27, 2025.
This review offers a thorough overview of the diverse buried interfaces in PSCs, emphasizing the associated issues, such as defects, perovskite terminations, strain, carrier dynamics, and chemical reactions. Moreover, the buried interface issues in both the widely studied SAM‐based devices and perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells are discussed in ...

Surfactant‐mediated electro‐dewetting of droplets in oil for liquid‐shape manipulation

open access: yesDroplet, Volume 4, Issue 4, October 2025.
Surfactant‐mediated electro‐dewetting has recently been demonstrated to manipulate droplets in air for digital microfluidics. The current work explores electro‐dewetting of droplets in oil for liquid‐shape manipulation. Contact‐angle change of 100° is obtained for electro‐dewetting of a dimethyl sulfoxide droplet in hexadecane oil with mere 4 V.

A Direct and Practical Approach to Assessing the Impact of Emulsion Composition on Vitamin A Stability

open access: yesJournal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, Volume 102, Issue 9, Page 1425-1437, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Vitamin A is an essential micronutrient involved in vision, immunity, and growth. Despite its widespread use in food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical products, vitamin A is highly prone to oxidation due to its conjugated double bonds, leading to reduced biological activity and efficacy.

An Interaction of Anionic- and Cationic-Rich Mixed Surfactants in Aqueous Medium through Physicochemical Properties at Three Different Temperatures

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2018
The mixed micellization of aqueous binary mixtures of DTAB-rich and SDS-rich surfactants, comprising sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) is studied in aqueous solution by using the physicochemical properties (PCPs) at
