New Insights into the Intrinsic Transport Properties of Sb2O5 and ZnSb2O6

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, Volume 19, Issue 11, November 2025.
Herein, Sb2O5 and ZnSb2O6 are revisited using an advanced carrier transport approach based on the exact solution of the Boltzmann transport equation for electron–phonon scattering. This method not only highlights the high mobility potential of these Sb(V) oxides but also offers deeper insights into the underlying electron–phonon scattering mechanisms ...

A Comprehensive Crustal Coda Attenuation Map of Continental China

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 19, 16 October 2025.
Abstract Seismic coda wave attenuation (QC) reflects both intrinsic inelasticity and small‐scale heterogeneities in the Earth's crust, offering insights into its thermal state and structural complexity. Continental China, characterized by widespread plate boundary deformation, is among the most tectonically active regions globally.

Laser‐Induced Heterostructuring of Graphene Passivated Nanoscale Black Phosphorus Frameworks for Lithium‐Ion Battery Anodes

open access: yesSmall, Volume 21, Issue 41, October 16, 2025.
Nanoscale BP‐LIG anode for LIB! The work demonstrates a simple laser method to fabricate a BP‐LIG hybrid anode by decorating nanoscale BP particles onto a 3D porous LIG network. Simple laser processing enables in situ anchoring of nanoscale BP on the 3D network of LIG via P─C covalent bonding. The resulting electrode delivers a capacity of 1122 mAh g−1

BaZrS3 Lights Up: The Interplay of Electrons, Photons, and Phonons in Strongly Luminescent Single Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 26, September 12, 2025.
BaZrS3 breaks its silence with bright, band‐to‐band photoluminescence at room temperautre ‐ no tricks, just killer crystals! A full Raman mode lineup and fast PL reveal phonons as the party crashers. Backed by DFT, this work rewrites the narrative on chalcogenide perovskites and lays the groundwork for turning them into real optoelectronic headliners ...
