Creation of Secondary Porosity in Dolostones by Upwelling Basement Water in the Foreland of the Alpine Orogen

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
Creation of secondary dissolution porosity in carbonate rocks during deep burial has the potential to improve reservoir properties for hydrocarbons, gas storage, and geothermal applications. However, the occurrence and mechanisms of such porosity enhancement are controversial.

Geomorfološki razvoj doline Krnice in njene zadnje poledenitve

open access: yesDela, 1999

Carbon Dioxide Absorption and Release Properties of Pyrolysis Products of Dolomite Calcined in Vacuum Atmosphere

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
The decomposition of dolomite into CaO and MgO was performed at 1073 K in vacuum and at 1273 K in an Ar atmosphere. The dolomite calcined in vacuum was found to have a higher specific surface area and a higher micropore volume when compared to the dolomite calcined in the Ar atmosphere.

Subnivale Kleinoserbildung.

The Role of Snowmelt on the Recharge Dynamics of a Vadose Alpine Karst

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 39, Issue 8, August 2025.
A unique combination of ERT and hydrological monitoring in a cave of an Alpine karst aquifer allows the investigation of various water infiltration processes. A three‐week observation of snowmelt in comparison to dry and wet summer conditions demonstrated that snowmelt leads to high water saturation in the bedrock due to diffuse enrichment, thus ...

PENGARUH DOLOMIT TERHADAP SIFAT KIMIA TANAH, BAKTERI PELARUT FOSFAT, SERAPAN Ca, Mg, P DAN PRODUKSI JAGUNG MANIS

open access: yesJTSL (Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan)
weet corn productivity in Indonesia is still in the low category. One of the causes is the problem of soil with low pH. Soil with a low pH causes the availability of nutrients to decrease, thereby inhibiting plant growth and development.

Lateglacial and Holocene chronology of climate‐driven postglacial landscape evolution in northeast Greenland

open access: yesBoreas, Volume 54, Issue 1, Page 105-124, January 2025.
This study aims to chronologically constrain the landscape evolution of two NE Greenland valleys related to 27 10Be cosmic‐ray exposure ages that constrain our interpretation of the geomorphological features from both valleys. The Greenland Ice Sheet is highly sensitive to climate change, leading to significant retreat along its edges.

A Middle Triassic Cassian‐type fauna (Pelsa‐Vazzoler Lagerstätte) and the adaptive radiation of the Modern evolutionary fauna

open access: yesPapers in Palaeontology, Volume 10, Issue 4, July/August 2024.
Abstract We describe a high‐diversity silicified assemblage of marine molluscs (Pelsa‐Vazzoler Lagerstätte) from the upper Ladinian of the Agordo Dolomites (northeastern Italy). New data on the Triassic rebound, after the end‐Permian mass extinction, constrain it to an interval of relatively stable climatic conditions.
