Evaluation of Surfactants for CO2 Mobility Control in Dolomite Reservoirs
SPE/DOE Enhanced Oil Recovery Symposium, 1992ABSTRACT Laboratory studies were conducted to find the best surfactant for generating CO2 foam in the presence of residual oil for two dolomite reservoirs. Conventional anionic and nonionic surfactants did not foam very well in core tests at reservoir conditions.

This thesis characterizes the reservoir properties of Middle Triassic dolostomite to evaluate its potential for deep geothermal use, dolomites belong to the Raming Formation of the Göller Nappe exposed on the Hoher Lindkogel near Baden. Abstract Reservoirs of commercial gasfields in eastern Sichuan, China, occur in Middle Carboniferous dolomite. Porous reservoir rocks in this dolomite are bounded by an upper disconformity and were deposited in tidal flats. Two types of diagenetic histories are suggested.
