Non Thermal‐Driven Photocatalytic Ammonia Decomposition at Near‐Room Temperature on a Plasmonic Nanocone Array

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plasmonic photocatalytic ammonia decomposition occurs at near‐room temperature on a plasmonic Au nanocone array under visible light illumination. The nanostructure efficiently harnesses plasmonic modes, leading to increased reaction rates upon plasmon decay.

Prospects of Electric Field Control in Perpendicular Magnetic Tunnel Junctions and Emerging 2D Spintronics for Ultralow Energy Memory and Logic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electric control of magnetic tunnel junctions offers a path to drastically reduce the energy requirements of the device. Electric field control of magnetization can be realized in a multitude of ways. These mechanisms can be integrated into existing spintronic devices to further reduce the operational energy.

Domain Decomposition CN-FDTD with Unsplit-Field PML for Time-Reversed Channel Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2018
In this paper, an efficient domain decomposition (DD) technique is introduced into the implicit Crank-Nicolson finite-difference time-domain (CN-FDTD) method to analyze the channel characteristics of time reversal (TR) waves. As an unconditionally stable

Spherical Harmonic Atomic Norm and its Application to DOA Estimation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Signal processing in the spherical harmonic (SH) domain has the advantages of analyzing a signal on the sphere with equal resolution in the whole space and of decomposite the frequency- and location-dependent components of the signal. Therefore, it finds

Controlled Aggregation of Pyrene‐Based Supramolecular Nanostructures for Light‐Driven Switchable H2 or H2O2 Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports the self‐assembly of a pyrene derivative into two distinct nanostructures and their application in visible‐light photocatalysis. The two nanostructures exhibit completely different yet complementary photocatalytic activities, promoting either H2 or H2O2 evolution.

A Discrete Duality Finite Volume Method for Coupling Darcy and Stokes Equations

open access: yesMoroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis, 2019
We present a general finite volume method to solve a coupled Stokes-Darcy problem, we propose two domains corresponding to fluid region and porous region with a physical intersection. At the contact interface between the fluid region and the porous media

Cross-Points in Domain Decomposition Methods with a Finite Element Discretization

open access: yes, 2014
Non-overlapping domain decomposition methods necessarily have to exchange Dirichlet and Neumann traces at interfaces in order to be able to converge to the underlying mono-domain solution. Well known such non-overlapping methods are the Dirichlet-Neumann

Z‐Scheme Water Splitting Systems Based on Solid‐State Electron Conductors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the latest advances in Z‐scheme overall water splitting (OWS) systems for solar hydrogen production. These systems consist of suspended or immobilized hydrogen evolution photocatalysts (HEPs) and oxygen evolution photocatalysts (OEPs).
