Analysis of Affective Domain Trends in Mathematics Education Using Dynamic Topic Modeling

The Korean Society of Educational Studies in Mathematics - School Mathematics
This study analyzes trends in affective domain research through dynamic topic modeling, examining 380 papers published in seven major Korean mathematics education journals. The number of topics was set at nine based on coherence and perplexity measures, and topics were identified by considering the frequency and relevance of keywords.

Simulation of V.C.G. Signals with Simple Mathematical Functions I) Analysis in the Time Domain

1984
We set up a mathematical analysis of typical Frank lead vectocardiograms (VCG) in the time domain. The purpose consists in further investigation of the electrical properties of the heart and in the reduction of the amount of data in storage processes. The latter is accomplished by simulating the VCG signal with simple functions that depend on a small ...

Simulation of V.C.G. Signals with Simple Mathematical Functions II) Analysis in the Frequency Domain

1984
This work is strictly related to the previous one (to be called I) and uses the same models described therein for the analysis of VCG power spectra. The line shapes in the time domaino are entirely different from those in the frequency range. The temporal signal has contributions from various waves that are delayed in time with respect to each other ...
