Low Mach number limit for the Quantum-Hydrodynamics system [PDF]
In this paper we deal with the low Mach number limit for the system of quantum-hydrodynamics, far from the vortex nucleation regime. More precisely, in the framework of a periodic domain and ill-prepared initial data we prove strong convergence of the ...

Summary: Presynaptic plasticity adjusts neurotransmitter (NT) liberation. Short-term facilitation (STF) tunes synapses to millisecond repetitive activation, while presynaptic homeostatic potentiation (PHP) of NT release stabilizes transmission over ...

Influence of stochastic domain growth on pattern nucleation for diffusive systems with internal noise [PDF]
Numerous mathematical models exploring the emergence of complexity within developmental biology incorporate diffusion as the dominant mechanism of transport.

Soundness, idempotence and commutativity of set-sharing [PDF]
It is important that practical data-flow analyzers are backed by reliably proven theoretical results. Abstract interpretation provides a sound mathematical framework and necessary generic properties for an abstract domain to be well-defined and sound ...

Mathematical analysis of robustness of two-level domain decomposition methods with respect to inexact coarse solves [PDF]
Convergence of domain decomposition methods rely heavily on the efficiency of the coarse space used in the second level. The GenEO coarse space has been shown to lead to a fully robust two-level Schwarz preconditioner which scales well over multiple cores [27, 19] as has been proved rigorously in [27].

Fault Detection and Classification in Two -Interconnected AC Microgrid at by Modal and Superimposed Analysis [PDF]
In this paper, a new method is proposed for low fault resistance fault detection and classification in two interconnected microgrid with tie line connection in island situation (Islanded two interconnected AC microgrid).

Mathematical analysis of parallel convective exchangers with general lateral boundary conditions using generalized graetz modes [PDF]
We propose a mathematical analysis of parallel convective exchangers for any general but longitudinally invariant domains. We analyze general Dirichlet or Neumann prescribed boundary conditions at the outer solid domain.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status
