Domain-specific text embedding model for accelerator physics
Accelerator physics presents unique challenges for natural language processing (NLP) due to its specialized terminology and complex concepts. A key component in overcoming these challenges is the development of robust text embedding models that transform

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

CECS-CLIP: Fusing Domain Knowledge for Rare Wildlife Detection Model
Accurate and efficient wildlife monitoring is essential for conservation efforts. Traditional image-based methods often struggle to detect small, occluded, or camouflaged animals due to the challenges posed by complex natural environments.

Reinhardt domains and toric models
Let \(T\) be the compact \(n\)-torus, \(T={\mathbb R}^n/{\mathbb Z}^n\) and \(\Omega \in {\mathbb R}^n\) a strictly convex domain. The set \(X=\Omega +\sqrt{-1}T=\{x+\sqrt{-1}y; \, x\in \Omega, y\in T\}\) is called \textit{Reinhardt domain} and is a \(T\)-manifold with the \(T\)-action on \(X\) given by addition on \(y\in T\). Let \(\omega \) be a \(T\)

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
