Numerical Simulation Data-Aided Domain-Adaptive Generalization Method for Fault Diagnosis
In order to deal with the cross-domain distribution offset problem in mechanical fault diagnosis under different operating conditions. Domain-adaptive (DA) methods, such as domain adversarial neural networks (DANNs), maximum mean discrepancy (MMD), and ...

Flexible Fractional Supercapacitor Model Analyzed in Time Domain
Supercapacitors have been rapidly adopted to replace batteries in many instances from power tools to automotive and aviation. Designing systems incorporating supercapacitors necessitate an accurate model of supercapacitor to maintain system efficiency ...

Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Design discussion on the ISDA Common Domain Model
A new initiative from the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) aims to establish a "Common Domain Model" (ISDA CDM): a new standard for data and process representation across the full range of derivatives instruments. Design of the ISDA

Attentive Adversarial Learning for Domain-Invariant Training
Adversarial domain-invariant training (ADIT) proves to be effective in suppressing the effects of domain variability in acoustic modeling and has led to improved performance in automatic speech recognition (ASR).

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Time-domain UWB transmission model for three-dimensional environments with low-loss obstacles
In this work, time-domain (TD) solution is presented for ultra wideband (UWB) transmission through three dimensional (3-D) scenarios made up of low-loss dielectric materials.

Domain wall and isocurvature perturbation problems in a supersymmetric axion model
The axion causes two serious cosmological problems, domain wall and isocurvature perturbation problems. Linde pointed that the isocurvature perturbations are suppressed when the Peccei-Quinn (PQ) scalar field takes a large value $\sim M_{\text{pl ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...
